Chad E. Potteiger, D.O. was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.  He received a Bachelors of Science in 1994 from Shippensburg University graduating Cum Laude.  Dr. Potteiger received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998.  Dr. Potteiger then completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2001.  He also served as the Chief Resident in Internal Medicine from 2001 to 2002.  He continued his training at Geisinger and completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship in 2005.

Dr. Potteiger is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Certified in Gastroenterology.

Dr. Potteiger is on the staff at Chambersburg Hospital and Chambersburg Endoscopy Center.  Dr. Potteiger joined Chambersburg Gastroenterology Associates in July 2006.

Dr. Potteiger is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterology Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and American Medical Association.

Dr. Potteiger lives in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania with his wife and three children.  In his leisure time he enjoys golfing, motorcycles and spending time with his family.
